How much does an on-site session cost?

Our on-site sessions start at $499.

This includes:

  1. up to 1 hour of video planning (story board, sound, graphics, text, music)
  2. travel to a Bay Area Location
  3. parking
  4. 30 minutes camera time using our professional HD equipment
  5. audio (either from our or your library)
  6. graphics, photos, logos (from your library)
  7. text (your information and message)
  8. video editing
  9. upload of one draft video for review
  10. one set of up to 5 change requests based on the draft video
  11. one final video of up to 1 minute length in MOV format
  12. download link to your final video

How much does a studio session cost?

We partner with several film studios in the San Francisco Bay Area. Pricing depends on the studio we end up using for your project.

Our studio sessions start at $995.

This includes:

  1. up to 1 hour of video planning (story board, sound, graphics, text, music)
  2. travel to a Bay Area Location
  3. parking
  4. 2 hours studio rental
  5. up to 1 hours camera time using our professional HD equipment
  6. 3 point lighting package
  7. audio (either from our or your library)
  8. graphics, photos, logos (from your library)
  9. text (your information and message)
  10. video editing
  11. upload of one draft video for review
  12. one set of up to 5 change requests based on the draft video
  13. one final video of up to 1 minute length in MOV format
  14. download link to your final video

What is SYOS (submit your own stuff) and how much does it cost?

You created some video footage and now you are looking for some editing and polishing help. Sound like SYOS is the perfect match! Just submit your own stuff and we’ll help with editing, animation, color correction, voiceover and other audio.

Here is a SYOS project example for $178:

You have 15 minutes of raw video footage and would like to have a 1-minute final video.

  • We talk about your project and discuss the story board, sound, music, text, animations etc. with you
  • You submit your footage, music, graphics, text and photos to our secure upload area
  • We review the footage and edit it according to our project discussion
  • We upload a draft video for your review
  • You review the draft video
  • You approve the video or submit change requests
  • We make the changes you requested and create the final video
  • We send you a link to download the final 1 minute video

Production

What's the video process?

Pre Production

The client provides us with strategic information through our pre-production discussion and questionnaires.

We provide pre-production guidelines, setup time lines, and on-location requirements.

We help our clients prepare for the video shoot. We answer any questions to make sure they feel ready.


Production

We arrive at the client’s site for equipment set up. Equipment can range from one camera and a tripod to additional lights and a teleprompter.

The client signs a release form.

The client is fitted with a small wireless microphone.

The client will spend up to 30 min recording a casual yet strategically directed conversation. We can provide a teleprompter for conversation support.

We offer a raw video review on-site for overall visual check.


Post Production

We edit the raw footage into a "rough cut message". This draft will show the segments we plan to use in the video.

We present the client with a link to access and comment on the rough-cut message.

The client approves the message. Or if needed, we make requested adjustments to the rough-cut message.

Once the rough-cut message is approved, we transform the rough cut into powerful marketing web video.

We present the client with a link to access the finished video for final approval.


Delivery

After the final approval, we create the requested online video file formats, sizes and qualities.

The client is invoiced for the remaining amount due and the collection of online video files is delivered to the client.

Where does the video session take place?

The video session can take place almost anywhere. For example at the client’s site or at a film studio or both. Sometimes it can be tricky and time consuming to find the right location for the project, but we absolutely enjoy helping with location scouting.

 

What are the video delivery options?

We currently provide 4 options:

  1. You get a download link to download your .MOV video file
  2. We upload your video into your YouTube account
  3. We upload your video into any other video hosting site (i.e. Vimeo)
  4. We create a streaming video file plug it direct into your website


Which video formats do you use?

 PDFPrintEmail

Streaming, file formats and video delivery options can be overwhelming. With our extensive background of 28+ years in high-tech we can format your video into any size and file container, using any common video codec with any quality setting you may desire.

We help ensure our HD web videos will play properly in any environment.

Typically we deliver videos in high quality H.264 .MOV file format using high quality AAC sound or we upload it to YouTube. In YouTube our videos are available in 360, 480, 720HD and 1080HD formats.

Upon request we also deliver premium quality .MOV file format using the professional grade XDCAM EX 1080i60 or 1080p30 (35 Mb/s VBR) codec with 16 bit uncompressed sound at 48kHz.
